7 REAL-LIFE STORIES WITH GRITS OF IMMENSE GOODNESS

1. I’m walking home in the morning. There is an announcement at the entrance: “Dear neighbors! Today at about 9.20 at the front door 170 UAH were lost. If anyone found it, please bring it to Antonina Petrovna in the square 76. Pension 3640 UAH”. I put aside 170 UAH, go up, call. A grandmother in an apron opens the door. She saw me holding out the money and immediately hugged me, wept and burst into tears of happiness. And she told me: “I went to get flour, when I came back, I took out the keys at the entrance – the money must have dropped.” But! Money refused to take flatly! It turned out that for a couple of hours I already sixth (!!!) “found” granny’s money! People, I love you for what you are!!!

2. I work in a fast food cafe. This morning a man came to the cash register and said: “There’s a girl behind me, I don’t know her. But I’d like to pay for her coffee. Tell her, ‘Have a nice day.'” This girl was very surprised at first… and then did the same for the next person in line. And that’s five times in a row!

3. I had a bad sore throat. I was alone at home, couldn’t even get out of bed and cried from helplessness. My dog sat next to the bed and looked at me with concern. Then she left and came back with a huge littered bone. She put the bone on my pillow and nudged my face with her nose – “Chew on it and you’ll feel better!”.

4. Once I saw a grandmother on the street, selling only 1 single indoor flower violet. I felt sorry for her, paid 10 times more expensive than she asked. She tearfully said, “I’m going to the store to buy my grandfather a sausage.” Brought the flower home, the next morning it bloomed.

5. It’s been a long time since there was such a thunderstorm as today. At work they said that someone was hanging around my car. I rushed outside. Everything was the same except for the sunroof: someone had pushed it shut so that no water could get into the cabin.

6. A little girl came up to me at the store and asked: “Take me in your arms.” I did, thinking she was lost. The little girl just hugged me and then jumped off. I stared at her and she explained:

– I wanted you to smile.

I jumped so hard with laughter.

7. Recently I was returning from the institute and near the subway station I saw a war veteran. He was sitting next to a tablet, on which were medals and orders…. His awards that he had earned in the war. He was selling them to buy himself some food. I went over, took out the entire contents of the wallet and gave it to him with the words, “Take all my money, but don’t sell it…” He cried, took the money, gathered the orders in his palms and kissed them, and then quietly through his tears said: “Thank you, daughter.” Moments like that make me feel like I can change the world. They give me hope.
